Definition - An external link that directs Internet users or spiders to an internal web page.

Definition - Facilitating or encouraging the addition of links from one website to another.
Link Popularity
Definition - The total number of a website's inbound links.
One Way Link
Definition - A non-reciprocal link that directs Internet users or spiders from one website to another.
Organic Placement
Definition - Non-paid rank or position within search engine results.
Outbound Link
Definition - An internal link that directs Internet users or spiders to an external web page.
Paid Link
Definition - One way inbound link purchased from another website.
Paid Placement
Definition - Paid positioning within search engine results.
PageRank (PR)
Definition - Google's numerical quantification of a website's content and the quantity and value of its incoming and outgoing links.
Reciprocal Link
Definition - An even exchange of links between two websites.
Rank
Definition - The order or position of a website's location within search engine results under specific keywords or keyphrases.
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
Definition - The practice of promoting a website to the public through organic and paid search engine placement.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Definition - The practice of integrating keywords or keyphrases into the HTML and text content of a web page to ensure that it is properly categorized by search engines.
